Water Heater Tips to Prevent Dangerous Sediment Build-Up [Video]

We recently replaced a water heater that was nine years old and you will never believe what we found inside the tank! We cracked open the old tank and found nine years of build-up containing rust, staph bacteria, iron, and other gunk. While the build-up of sediments is normal, it’s important to stay ahead of the build-up before it turns into an unhealthy problem.  It’s recommended that your water heater gets flushed on an annual basis to prevent build-up of potentially harmful substances in the tank, which eventually make their way to your tap water. Check out the video below that documents our findings!
